Computer Explorers was created by Educators and is currently taking technology education to new heights. Computer Explorers reaches children ages three and older. Over the course of time, new elements such as robotics, engineering and digital applications have become incorporated into our programs. Computer Explorers offers a dynamic program that allows schools of all stature to take part in quality education. Technology and computers are essential in our lives; both help enhance knowledge, test scores, creativity and learning. It has been proven time and time again that technology education increases children’s skills and knowledge in other academic areas including math, science, reasoning, language arts, and critical thinking. We maintain an impressive presence in the educational community by continuously
incorporating age-appropriate curriculum, educational software, state-of-the-art hardware and peripherals into a strong instructional system that meets children’s needs.
Under the Microscope
Guess what we’ll discover under the microscope? Together we’ll explore a whole new world of learning and excitement. Using a child-friendly digital microscope, students will explore the concepts of science, magnification, nature study and digital editing.
Intro to Digital Photography
Experiment with digital photography to create puppets, movies, special effects and more! First we will learn how to take a good digital picture & then we will practice fun digital editing techniques as we create our projects! Children will be paired in groups of two for these sessions.
