This instructional class is for kids who want to learn the game of tennis, as well as for young players who want to improve their grip, forehand and backhand strokes, serving, net play and scoring. Participants should bring their own racquets. Contracted through Court Aces and Associates.

Beginner (B): Classes are for those who have had one or two sessions or have never played.

Advanced Beginner/Intermediate (AB/I) : Classes are for those who can already rally a little and have the basics of forehand, topspin, backhand and a basic serve.

The Gurnee Park District offers several levels of adult instructional tennis programs;

choose the program that fits your skill level. All classes are contracted through Court Aces.

Beginner (B)

Never played or played a little.

Advanced Beginner/Intermediate (AB/I):

Can rally a little and have the basics of topspin, serve and some knowledge of rules and scoring.
