We're happy to announce that starting Friday, June 26th we will re-open FitNation as we enter into Restore Illinois Phase 4. We will adhere to the guidelines under this phase as we re-open.

Temporary Hours for June and July:

In order to complete more frequent and deeper nightly cleaning to equipment and surfaces, the hours of operation are adjusted as follows. We will re-evaluate and make needed changes based on our experience after July.

  • Monday – Thursday 5a-9p
  • Friday 5a-7p
  • Saturday and Sunday 7a-2p
  • Closed July 4th

Member access:

Per the guidelines issued for phase 4, we will be operating FitNation at 50% of our normal capacity. Therefore, the facility will only be open to our current active members. We will not be accepting new memberships, guests or daily visits until we get a better understanding of the usage patterns. Access will be offered on a first come first serve basis if we reach capacity at any time. Based on our usage data from previous summers and considering the expansive size of our facility, we are fairly confident that we can accommodate all our current members.

A limited amount of Group Exercise classes will be available to those who have group exercise add-on along with their regular membership starting Monday, June 29th. Our plan is to start with a few classes and increase the number based on usage and interest. Group exercise studios will be marked to manage social distancing requirements and spaces will be available on a first-come first-serve basis. A schedule of classes is available here.

We will not be activating the Silver Sneaker Program at this time.

Childcare will not be available at this time.

Available Amenities:

  • All equipment on the fitness floor will be available for the members to use. In order to adhere to social distancing requirements, members are asked to use alternate machines.

  • Basketball will be allowed, 1 person per hoop, please bring your own ball

Locker rooms, Towel Service, Sauna/Steam Room, and Whirlpools will be temporarily unavailable and will be made available once the State and CDC guidelines allow.

Members are required to wear face coverings when entering and leaving the facility and when social distancing cannot be achieved. Members will also be supplied with a bottle of disinfecting spray and a towel when checking in to be used before and after the use of any machines or equipment.

We are excited to share that Athletico will be occupying the space formerly used by Heavenly Massage and they plan to start their operations in July. We believe that this partnership will benefit our members as well as our community.

We kindly ask that all members entering the facility bring a face covering, practice social distancing and wash your hands frequently. We also ask that you do not come to the facility if you are experiencing any COVID like symptoms. We are all in this together and let each of us do our part to stay healthy and keep others healthy.

We will be sending additional communication to give you more details about what to expect during your visit and helpful reminders on how we can enjoy FitNation while keeping our health and the health of others the top priority. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Chris Leathers at 847-599-3778.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
